Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 7, 2026

In short: Wobbit is a local macOS companion that presents activity reported by supported coding agents. Provider integrations may change, status information may be incomplete, and the app is provided as is.

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply when you download, install, access, or use Wobbit. By using Wobbit, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

About Wobbit

Wobbit is a macOS menu-bar and desktop companion developed by H. Cem Öztürk (“we,” “us,” or “the developer”). It reads locally available activity from supported coding agents and presents agent and session states through glanceable Wobbit windows.

Supported coding agents include Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, and Google Antigravity. Each supported coding agent has its own Wobbit, which may represent multiple sessions from that provider.

System requirements and installation

Wobbit currently requires macOS 15 or later. Compatibility may change as Wobbit, macOS, and third-party coding tools evolve. You are responsible for downloading Wobbit from a source you trust and for following macOS security prompts and settings.

License and ownership

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Wobbit on Macs that you own or control, subject to these Terms.

Wobbit’s software, design, branding, and original visual elements belong to H. Cem Öztürk or the applicable licensors. Third-party software, provider names, trademarks, data, and content remain the property of their respective owners.

Local data access

Wobbit needs access to certain local provider files, logs, hook events, or related metadata to identify agents and sessions and infer their activity. By enabling an integration, you authorize Wobbit to read the local information reasonably required for that integration.

You are responsible for protecting your Mac, maintaining any necessary backups, and deciding which providers to enable. Wobbit does not provide a remote backup or recovery service for local app data.

Third-party tools and compatibility

Wobbit is independent software and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Anysphere, SpaceX, GitHub, or any coding-agent provider.

Provider software, local file formats, hooks, permissions, and operating-system behavior may change without notice. As a result, an integration may become delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable. We do not guarantee permanent compatibility with any provider, provider version, Mac, or macOS release.

Apple, Mac, Macintosh, iMac, and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc. Claude Code is a trademark of Anthropic, PBC. Codex and ChatGPT are trademarks of OpenAI, Inc. Antigravity is a trademark of Google LLC. Cursor is a trademark of Anysphere, Inc. Wobbit is independent software and is not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies.

Status information and appropriate use

Wobbit’s activity indicators are informational. A state may be delayed, missed, or inferred incorrectly. Do not rely on Wobbit as the only way to monitor critical, time-sensitive, production, safety, security, or financial workflows. Check the relevant coding-agent tool directly before taking consequential action.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Availability, updates, and changes

Wobbit is currently provided free of charge and releases are made available through GitHub. We may add, remove, update, suspend, or discontinue features, integrations, downloads, or the app itself. We do not promise continued support for every provider, Mac, or operating-system version.

If paid features are introduced, their price and terms will be shown before purchase.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wobbit is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that Wobbit will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or compatible with every provider, session, device, or operating-system version.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, H. Cem Öztürk will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, source code, work, use, goodwill, profits, or other intangible losses arising from Wobbit, provider integrations, or your inability to use them. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Termination

You may stop using Wobbit at any time by removing it from your Mac. We may terminate or restrict your license if you violate these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as Wobbit changes. Revised Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continuing to use Wobbit after revised Terms become effective means you accept them.

Governing law and severability

These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable Turkish law will have jurisdiction over disputes.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
