Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

In short: Wobbit does not require an account and does not upload your coding-agent activity to a server operated by us. Provider activity, session state, and Wobbit preferences are read and processed locally on your Mac.

About this policy

Wobbit is a macOS application developed by H. Cem Öztürk (“we,” “us,” or “the developer”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Wobbit.

Information processed on your Mac

Wobbit may read local files, logs, hook events, and related metadata made available by supported coding-agent providers. Depending on the provider and integration, this may include session identifiers, timestamps, activity signals, message excerpts, tool-call details, and other content from local transcripts needed to infer states such as working, thinking, waiting, idle, or finished.

Wobbit also stores app preferences locally, such as enabled providers, presentation choices, window state, and other settings needed to operate the app.

This information is processed on your Mac to provide Wobbit’s status displays. It is not uploaded to a developer-operated server, used for advertising, or sold.

Accounts and credentials

Network connections and third parties

Coding-agent providers

Supported coding agents, including Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, and Google Antigravity, may connect to their own services independently of Wobbit. Those services handle information under their own terms and privacy policies. Wobbit does not control how a coding-agent provider handles data when you use that provider directly.

GitHub downloads and links

Wobbit releases are distributed through GitHub. When you visit a GitHub page, download a release, or follow another external link, the destination may receive standard connection information such as your IP address, browser or device information, and request details. GitHub handles that information under its General Privacy Statement.

Automatic updates

Wobbit uses Sparkle to check for and download updates from GitHub. GitHub receives standard connection information such as your IP address and request details. Your coding-agent session data is not included in update requests. You can configure automatic update checks in Wobbit’s General settings.

Apple and macOS

Apple may process operating-system, security, download, or diagnostic information according to your Mac settings and Apple’s policies. This processing is performed by Apple, not by Wobbit. You can review Apple’s practices in its Privacy Policy.

Data retention and deletion

Wobbit retains local preferences and derived state for as long as needed to operate the app. Removing Wobbit stops its local activity processing. Some preferences or copies may remain in macOS application-support folders or backups until you remove them or the relevant backup expires.

Because we do not operate a Wobbit account or activity-data server, we cannot access, recover, or remotely delete data stored on your Mac.

Security

Wobbit relies on macOS security features and reads only the local information needed for its integrations. No method of local storage or software operation is completely secure. Keep macOS, Wobbit, and your coding-agent tools up to date, and protect access to your Mac.

Support communications

If you email us, we receive your email address and any information you choose to include. We use that information to respond, provide support, protect the app, or meet legal obligations. Do not send session logs, source code, credentials, or other sensitive information unless it is necessary and you are comfortable sharing it.

Children’s privacy

Wobbit is a developer tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-operated Wobbit service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Wobbit changes. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
